This 1/2 life size model shows various pathologies of the Colon and appendix. In the region of descending colon, are well represented diverticulosis with adhesion, bacterial colitis and adenocarcinoma; other pathological conditions include polyposis, intussusception, intestinal tuberculosis, ulcerative colitis and Crohn disease. The appendix depicts inflammation and fecal concretions.
